The FAST Experience offers two different 7v7 opportunities designed to give athletes the right level of development, competition, and commitment for their goals.

Athletes can participate in our NextGen 7v7 League, our Competitive Travel Program, or both if selected and schedules allow.

NEXTGEN 7v7 LEAGUE

Overview:

Our NextGen 7v7 League is our local program designed to give athletes an opportunity to develop, compete, and gain valuable game experience in a structured environment.

The league is open to athletes of varying experience levels and is a great option for players who want to continue developing their football skills during the offseason without the travel commitment of our competitive tournament teams.

Skill Development
Practices and games focused on improving fundamentals, football IQ, route concepts, coverage recognition, communication, and overall performance.

Local Competition
Athletes compete locally, making this a great option for families looking for quality offseason football without a tournament travel schedule.

Game Experience
Consistent live reps allow athletes to apply what they learn in training in a competitive game environment.

Development-Focused Environment
Our goal is to help athletes improve, build confidence, compete, and take what they learn back to their youth or high school football programs.

COMPETITIVE TRAVEL TEAMS

Selected Athletes. Higher Competition. Tournament Environment.

Our FAST Competitive Travel Teams are built for athletes ready to compete at a higher level.

Unlike our local league, travel team roster spots are not guaranteed through registration. Athletes are evaluated by our coaching staff and hand-selected based on ability, competitiveness, positional needs, commitment, attitude, and overall fit within the team.

Selected athletes represent FAST in competitive 7v7 tournaments throughout Southern California, competing against established programs and high-level athletes from across the region.

Selective Rosters
Travel teams are assembled through athlete evaluations and tryouts. Registration or participation in our local league does not guarantee a travel roster position.

Advanced Training
Practices are designed around position development, offensive and defensive concepts, competition, and tournament preparation.

High-Level Competition
Selected teams compete in competitive 7v7 tournaments throughout Southern California.

Higher Commitment
Travel athletes are expected to maintain a strong commitment to practices, tournaments, teammates, and the standards of The FAST Experience.

Team Culture
We look for athletes who want to compete, improve, be coached, support their teammates, and represent FAST the right way.

Athletes seeking a more competitive environment and who are ready to earn their position on a selected FAST travel roster.

CAN MY ATHLETE PARTICIPATE IN BOTH?

Yes.

Athletes may participate in the NextGen 7v7 League while also being considered for a FAST Competitive Travel Team.

We actually encourage athletes to take advantage of opportunities to gain additional reps and development. However, travel team roster spots are selective, and there may occasionally be scheduling conflicts between league games and tournament weekends.
